育碧宣布邀请曾屡获殊荣的电影作曲家、词曲作者兼音乐出品人Dan Romer为《孤岛惊魂5》配乐并创作原创歌曲。《孤岛惊魂5》原声音乐集也将于游戏发售日(2018年2月27日)前后发布。

Dan Romer最为出名的作品包括《南国野兽》以及《无境之兽》两部电影的配乐，格莱美奖获奖单曲《SaySomething》，以及红遍全球的热门歌曲《Treat You Better》。在本次合作中，Romer试图创作出能让玩家沉浸于“希望镇”氛围之中的音乐体验，“希望镇”是一个虚构的蒙大拿小镇，被狂热的末日邪教“伊甸之门计划”占据。在游戏音乐中运用了班卓琴、小提琴、多布罗吉他等多种美国风情乐器，Romer的配乐也会随着玩家探索动态世界、或与邪教徒火拼时而发生变化，31首原声辑曲目录。
